In ELECTRIC SILENCE, a grieving young man coming to terms with a personal tragedy becomes involved with an upstart technology company developing a startling new piece of hardware - Iris, the digital host of an advanced simulated world. As the personalities of the team bringing Iris to life collide, their lives in both the real and digital worlds begin to crumble.

Volplex Pictures' Electric Silence wrapped shooting on block one in 2019, starring Jordan as Owen. Jordan will also be composing and producing the score.

"I don't even actually like you."

During a bout of writers block, struggling writer Emmett Shelby (David Thompson) happens across Jess Spencer (Leah Sperring), a fellow writer facing the same problem. After a fateful day together, the two part. But, reunited a year later, Jess is introduced to Emmett's extended circle of family and friends - his sister Daisy (Isabella Cosh) and her boyfriend Barney Fields (Jack Stringer), their narcissistic landlord Hugh Darvill (Jordan Cottle), and Daisy's eccentric agent Jenny Sinclair (Grace Martinson).

 

Volplex Pictures' Writers ran for two seasons between 2015 and 2017, with the first season airing nationally on Made TV in summer 2015. Jordan appeared in every episode as main-stay Hugh Darvill whilst co-producing the series, as well as guest-directing episode three of season two, Jenny's Version.
